“Requiem for the Dinosaurs”
Lyrics and composition by Keiji Ikeda
After hundreds of millions of years, from beyond the lost past
The remaining bone fragments ignite our imaginations
From the puzzle of fossils, a wild and beautiful landscape emerges
With footsteps like thunder, a colossal shadow stomped across the land, shaking the earth.
With gleaming sharp teeth, they chased their prey
In this lost ancient scene, we reflect on our own lives.
Across time, slumbering deep within the earth’s layers, the lives that have become fossils
Begin to tell the story of a lost world, even though they are extinct
With gleaming sharp teeth, they chased their prey
In this lost ancient scene, we reflect on our own lives.
